One of the most outstanding features available in Candoprojects is the ability to plan with scheduling uncertainty or fuzzy planning. This combined with the graphical “free planning” style allowed in the workspace, provides the Candoprojects user with a unique experience with regard to project planning. Scheduling with time uncertainty is not new to project management, e.g., early start, late start, early end and late end have been around for a long time, however, Candoprojects’s implementation is more intuitive and extremely flexible to use.
Candoprojects even goes a step further and provides a ”Risk” metric for each planned object. This “Risk” metric is continuously calculated (real-time) for all objects across the whole system and is used to determine which objects are temporally related (in time conflict) and by how much. In addition to scheduling related conflicts between objects, resource allocation is analyzed for each object to determine if a given resource is overloaded and calculates its associated “Risk” metric. |
